For many parishioners the forced closure of St. Patrick’s was a difficult period. We have been privileged that Father Lussier has been able to carefully and cautiously resume masses for our parishioners, This has been accomplished with the assistance of many people. For this we are all thankful.
The most important role our church plays is meeting the spiritual needs of our community. The health and safety of our members, staff and Father is also of great concern. While the social component of our parish is important, Saint Patrick’s is not prepared at this time to recommence social gatherings in the church hall, The resources required to maintain a sanitary and safe environment are better used to continue to adjust to the effects of Covid19 and satisfy our parishes spiritual needs.
The parish will continue to monitor and adapt to this new world and we all look forward to a time when we can meet for coffee and resume receptions.
